Biography
Jill Turley
I’m a New Zealand artist living on the North Shore of Auckland. I work mainly in acrylics on board or canvas. My figurative art explores human relationships and the various states of human frailty. A strong narrative is important to me in my art.
My painting journey began in 2017 when I began studying at Browne School of Art in Grey Lynn Auckland. For 5 years I completed year long courses and I’ve continued to attend selected term courses ever since.
In just some of my works I incorporate layers of marbling as either under layers to create random marks or sometimes as a final layer.
I take part in a number of group exhibitions annually in Auckland. My paintings are available directly from this website.
